Last weekend I went to SakuraCon in Seattle. First and foremost here is a shoutout to my mom and brother for doing this for me as well as paying for the trip and my registration. There was one condition that my brother had though, and that was that I make my own cosplay this year. So... this year I cosplayed for the first time, as well as sewed a cosplay costume to wear to a con. The character I cosplayed as? Flonne from Disgaea!!! I was very excited and it was hard for me to walk without getting stopped to pose for the camera. I even got glomped once! Unfortunately the shoes i was wearing were very painful on the toes, so halfway through the day i was practically limping, and it must have looked like i was doing the robot! The con itself was amazing, I loved all the cosplays and I went to quite a few panels and learned lots of neat stuff. The lolita fashionshow was adorable, and the girl i sat next to had a baby the stars shine bright dress!!! It was so adorable! I bought tons of stuff in the dealers room, including an amazingly good quality (not that cheap polyester crap for a hundred bucks) lolita skirt for $15!!!! I was so shocked! I cant wait to go to the next convention!!!
On another note, the play i'm in opens on wednesday, majorly nervous!!!!
